As the founder and owner of Leaders Title Agency, Inc. and a licensed title agent who brings over 32 years of well-rounded title and escrow experience to the closing table. Leaders Title is located on the outskirts of Columbus, in Gahanna, Ohio, servicing all 88 counties.

Dwane was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Not a stranger to hard work and dedication, he continues to put consumers’ needs at the forefront of his company’s focus.

Dwane began his career in the title industry working for a local title company and quickly realized that he had a knack for real estate title and escrow and a talent for connecting with people and building strong relationships. Dwane’s passion for the industry grew, and he had a goal of starting his own company.

Known for his tenacity, Dwane put his extensive experience and knowledge to work, ensuring that every client, and all parties involved, receive the best possible service for their needs. His company is known for being able to handle any type of transaction with excellence. From existing home sales and refinances to assisting property owners with parcel combinations and splits, Leaders Title considers the needs of all parties involved and makes sure that their closing is well-managed and hassle-free. After focusing on business, Dwane enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is an avid boater, enjoys fishing, and is an avid sports fan.

Now Co-Owner with a vested interest in the company, Shari started in the title industry in 1986, with Buckeye Abstract. as a Title Data Entry Processor. She moved up with the Company as it transitioned to Minnesota Title then later Old Republic. Shari managed one of Old Republic’s top-producing offices in Bexley, Ohio. She was with them until 1992 when she moved to Virginia.

Keeping her hand in the title industry while living in Virginia for 2 years, she worked for a law firm working in their real estate department. She quickly became the only person manning everything that involved real estate in the office for the 2 years with them. The attorney she worked for in Virginia was associated with Old Republic Title as well.

Shari and her family moved back to Ohio in March of 1995 after having their 2nd child to be closer to family. She resumed her title career as General Manager and later President of Foundation Title Agency, Ltd. She was with Foundation Title for nearly 14 years. Her extensive background in the industry and her commitment to excellence quickly grew Foundation Title from a very small agency to one which handled over 200 closings a month and covered all 88 counties of Ohio, specializing in Re-Sales, Refinances, Foreclosures, and REO Sales.

Although she has been primarily out of the title and closing industry since 2009, she has kept abreast of new rules and regulations by working as a sub-contractor for Alliance Title NKA Pulte Title (primarily new build closings), for the entire extent of her absence from being in the industry “full-time”. Leaders Title is excited to have Shari as General Manager and she is excited to resume her career and build loyal and lasting relationships with their clientele. Shari works hard to assure that Leaders Title is, in fact, a true leader in the title and escrow industry locally and state-wide. In her free time, Shari enjoys spending time with her family and friends and dearly loves being involved in her grandchildren’s lives. She has a camper on the Ohio River and loves spending as much time down there as she can during the summer months.
